It was late 2000 when I first purchased my DirecPC "classic" 1-way satellite system. At the time, it was the best system Hughes
offered. 2-Way home satellite didn't even exist. I had a lot of questions, and some difficulties with my new purchase, but nowhere
to turn for answers.
I started this site for people like myself who wanted to get the most out of their satellite system, and who were tired of getting the
'canned' answers read to them by some phone support person who likely never even used a HughesNet.
A lot has changed over these last 9+ years of having this site up. 2-Way is now the dominant Hughes satellite product, and 1-Way
is nearly forgotten. This site has grown from a small handfull, to now
